With more than 2,000 Hispanic and Latino professionals across Associa, they represent an important part of the company’s workforce and leadership community. Hispanic Heritage Month provides an opportunity to recognize the rich history, cultures and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities while highlighting the individuals who continue to make an impact in workplaces and communities across the country and all over the globe.

Jose Maldonado, President of Associa Capital
Originally from Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, Jose Maldonado has been part of Associa for nearly two decades and currently serves as president of Associa Capital. Throughout his career with the company, he has held several multifaceted leadership roles, beginning with his work leading Associa’s international division and later expanding his responsibilities across finance, mergers and acquisitions, and growth strategy.

Aranza Flores, Vice President, Associa Mexico
A native of La Paz, Baja California Sur, the state capital located approximately two hours from Los Cabos, where Associa Mexico is located, Flores started her career in 2021 as Accounting Manager. In 2023, she was promoted to Director of Finance, and most recently as Vice President.
Flores is a certified public accountant by training, with a specialization in taxation. However, throughout her career, she has primarily focused on finance, financial planning and strategy, and budgeting. Her experience has centered on driving organizational financial performance through effective resource management, as well as developing and implementing strategies that support growth and business objectives.

Melissa Eisenman, Director of Community Growth and Development, Associa Mexico
Since joining Associa Mexico in 2018 as a business development manager, Melissa Eisenman has built her career around developing relationships, supporting growth and understanding the needs of the communities Associa serves. Her personal connection to both Mexico and the United States has also shaped her perspective as a leader.
“Since joining Associa Mexico in 2018, I have had the privilege of helping build relationships and support growth within the communities we serve. My connection to both Mexico and the United States is deeply personal. I was born in the U.S. and raised with a strong appreciation for my Mexican heritage through my grandmother, while also having the opportunity to live and experience life in both countries.
That bicultural perspective has shaped the way I lead. It has given me a deeper appreciation for the different experiences, values and perspectives that influence how people communicate, build relationships and conduct business. I believe that embracing those differences is not only important to our culture, but also a business strength. Elvia Espino, Director of Public Relations and Reputation, Associa
A proud dual citizen of Mexico and the United States, Elvia Espino joined Associa in early 2026. As a first-generation Mexican American, Espino was drawn to Associa because the story of its founder, John Carona. His journey from humble beginnings, built through hard work and determination, resonated with Espino and her own non-traditional career path.

Ramon Heriberto Rodriguez, Account Manager, Associations Insurance Agency, Inc., an Associa Company
As a first-generation American born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Ramon Heriberto Rodriguez carries the influence of his family’s heritage with him throughout his career. His family’s roots trace back to Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico, where generations of his family built the foundation for the opportunities that followed.
In his role, Rodriguez works to identify insurance solutions for current customers while also building relationships with potential new community association clients. His work reflects the importance of building trust, creating connections and understanding the needs of the communities Associa serves.
“Being a first-generation American is something I’m very proud of. My family’s roots in Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico, have given me an appreciation for hard work, perseverance and the opportunities that come from building something for the next generation.
