DSR contributes enterprise identity platform to Hiero project
DENVER, April 15, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- DSR Corporation (DSR), a full-service professional software development company today announced the open source contribution of its enterprise-grade Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) Toolkit to Hiero, a project under Linux Foundation Decentralized Trust (LFDT). The contribution is now the Hiero Heka Identity Platform (Heka) subproject.
By contributing Heka, DSR is bringing a production-proven solution into an open ecosystem to accelerate real-world adoption of decentralized identity. Rather than keeping enterprise-grade capabilities proprietary, DSR is enabling broader validation, integration, and scalability, helping move the industry beyond fragmented tooling toward deployable systems suitable for enterprise use.
Implementing decentralized identity capabilities has traditionally required navigating fragmented protocols and complex integrations. Heka addresses these challenges by providing a scalable, enterprise-ready foundation that enables integration into existing systems while maintaining flexibility to evolve with changing requirements. Its inclusion in the Hiero ecosystem also supports the development of open, community-driven identity infrastructure aligned with enterprise needs, helping reduce vendor lock-in and strengthen ecosystem credibility.
