EDINA, MN — Good Samaritan United Methodist Church invites the community to celebrate Holy Week and Easter with a series of meaningful worship services from Palm Sunday through Easter Sunday, featuring special music from the Chancel Choir, Jubilee! Bell Choir, and Chancel Chimes.

Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday on March 29 at 10:00 AM, featuring a Palm/Passion service with Chancel Chimes and a palm processional marking the beginning of Jesus' final journey toward the cross. A special Family Ukrainian Egg Day will be held on Saturday, March 21 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM in Aldersgate Hall, offering a beloved tradition of Ukrainian egg dying and decorating activities for all ages.

Maundy Thursday services will take place on April 2 at 7:00 PM, featuring Holy Communion and music from the Chancel Choir as the congregation remembers Jesus' last night with his disciples. Good Friday on April 3 will include a joint service with Lake Harriet UMC and Church of Peace at 7:00 PM, hosted at Lake Harriet United Methodist Church (4901 Chowen Avenue South, Minneapolis), featuring the Seven Last Words of Christ and a combined choir.

Easter Sunday worship will be held on April 5 at 10:00 AM, featuring an Easter Festival Worship service with the Chancel Choir, Jubilee! Bell Choir, and Chancel Chimes. A fellowship gathering will follow at 11:00 AM in Aldersgate Hall, providing an opportunity for the community to connect and celebrate together.

All worship services will be live-streamed for those unable to attend in person. The church's Lenten worship series, "Tell Me Something Good: Grounding Ourselves in the Good News this Lent," focuses on key scriptures and themes of Jesus' life and ministry throughout the season.
