Kegel Adopts Beetronics 10-Inch Industrial Touchscreen for Atlas Lane Machine Controls
Claymont, United States - October 22, 2026 / Beetronics Inc. /
Kegel, a global provider of bowling lane maintenance technology, has integrated Beetronics 10TS7M 10-inch touchscreens into its Atlas Smart Lane Machines, giving operators a centralized interface for lane conditioning, machine configuration, and daily maintenance operations.
The integration pairs Kegel's custom user interface with Beetronics touchscreen technology, enabling bowling center operators to manage oil patterns, access machine settings, and carry out maintenance functions through a single interactive display.
Kegel develops lane maintenance equipment used by bowling centers, training facilities, and professional bowling environments around the world. Its Atlas machines are engineered to apply precise and repeatable oil patterns, helping facilities maintain consistent lane conditions for both recreational and competitive play.
Selecting the appropriate touchscreen was a key consideration in delivering a dependable operator experience. The display needed to reproduce the colors and brightness of Kegel's custom interface accurately while withstanding the demands of frequent daily use in active bowling environments.
Kegel chose the Beetronics 10TS7M, a 10-inch industrial touchscreen monitor, to serve as the primary human-machine interface (HMI) for its Atlas lane machines.
The touchscreen provides direct access to Kegel's custom control software, with frequently used functions such as Move and Oil available from the main screen. Additional menus organize settings, oil patterns, scheduling, backup and restore functions, and system diagnostics, allowing operators to navigate machine controls without relying on separate input devices.
This centralized interface supports the daily workflow of bowling center staff, who may need to move equipment between lanes, select different conditioning patterns, or adjust maintenance schedules throughout the day.
"We were focused on finding something that was capable of displaying Kegel's custom UI with accurate color reproduction and brightness, while being dependable and durable enough for daily use. The Beetronics touchscreen has been delivering this with consistent performance in a busy bowling environment," said Erin Wall, VP of Business Administration at Kegel.
The integration illustrates how industrial touchscreen monitors can support specialized equipment manufacturers by combining custom software with a dedicated operator interface. Rather than requiring operators to navigate separate controls, the Atlas touchscreen consolidates essential machine functions within a compact display.
For bowling centers managing multiple lanes and shifting operational requirements, this approach provides straightforward access to conditioning programs, maintenance schedules, and diagnostic tools. Operators can navigate the interface using standard touchscreen interactions while retaining access to the detailed controls required for precise lane maintenance.
Standardizing on a consistent touchscreen platform also supports Kegel's broader equipment strategy. Beetronics' focus on long-term product availability and consistent specifications allows equipment manufacturers to maintain hardware continuity across production runs, servicing, and future installations.
By integrating Beetronics touchscreens with its proprietary lane conditioning technology, Kegel provides Atlas operators with a consistent interface for managing daily maintenance tasks while supporting the precision and repeatability expected from professional bowling equipment.
