ReadersMagnet proudly showcased “Salvo: The Codex Edition” by Randy Lee Higgins at a book festival at Row Book in Chicago. The outdoor event was held on September 12-13, 2026, along South Dearborn Street, from Ida B. Wells Drive to Polk Street.

“Salvo: The Codex Edition” is an unconventional work that challenges readers to move beyond familiar ways of thinking. Rather than presenting a traditional narrative, the book invites readers to reflect, question, and discover deeper truths about existence.

Through symbolic imagery and philosophical insight, Higgins explores humanity's evolution and the possibility of a new stage of consciousness. The book encourages readers to see change not as an ending but as part of life's continuous transformation, where every experience is connected to a greater whole.

Higgins brings a unique perspective shaped by both academic achievement and personal experience. Born in Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains, he graduated summa cum laude from Virginia Tech, earned a master's degree in family therapy, and completed his doctorate at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology. He credits life's challenges as his greatest teacher, which has helped him find hope, meaning, and possibility even during difficult times.

He is also the author of the following books: “Salvo: Answers to an Apocalypse,” “Beyond Nirbikalpa: The Meditation That is Not a Meditation,” “Glorious: Life on the Other Side of the Apocalypse,” “After The Rapture: A Real Life Fable,” “Holy Love: Relationship as Siddhi,” and “Celestials: The Emergent Species.”
